The Scottish Hedgewitch Makes Nettle Soup

by Julie Gibbons on May 6, 2011

I found this video on the BBC Scotland website this morning and thought you might be inspired, too. I’m going out foraging this weekend, and the one plant I can recognise is a nettle. Will you join me?

Hi Julie,
Scottish Hedgewitch here! Hope that you enjoyed the nettle soup? We all sat down and ate the pot I made on the film for dinner. It’s one of my favourite signs of spring approaching.

There are 2 other vids now available at the BBC site, and a further 3 to come. Hope you enjoy them!

Glad you liked it! We’ve just delivered the next in the series to the BBC so look out for it in the next week or so… all about the herbs you need when you’re out and about in the countryside this summer.
Hope your enjoy it!
