Aha – I brought you here under false pretences, huh? Sorry about that. It isn’t even funny, I know. But I did want to share this idea. This could be a great answer to the dilemma of what to give the family who has everything for Christmas. It’s a “positive pot”.
We came across this particular “positive pot” a few years back at the Assembly Rooms Craft Fair. I’ve since been online to search for the vendor, but it looks like she’s moved onto pastures new. Basically, what she did was to source individual pots of varying styles, and fill them with a wonderful variety of inspirational quotations.
When we have friends and family round to the house, we hand the pot about – oh, it’s all terribly good fun at Chez Fundergibbons!
But hey – even though it’s a bit naff, it’s actually a great hit with everyone (especially the kids) and I really do often pick out a quotation or two myself – just like I did this morning:
You already know the power of positive programming. This could be your way of sharing that gift with your friends. I’ve asked @WiiR to pull together a bunch of quotations to create his own positive pot for a Christmas home ed project. He’s reluctant, but I’m not going to let that stop me – I can see the invisible, after all
