Organic Vegetarian Menu Planner to help you save time!
Here’s what I did this week to prepare our menu for the week ahead – why don’t you give it a try?
1. I unpacked my delivery from www.damhead.co.uk
2. I assessed the contents (I ordered a small veg bag and a large fruit box):
cucumber ; potatoes ; onions ; green pepper ; avocados; beetroots ; oranges ; pears ; kiwis; bananas; apples; tangerines; mushrooms; broccoli; green beans; rhubarb; kohl rabi
3. I sat down and constructed a lunch and dinner menu plan for the week ahead including the above ingredients (leaving blanks for when we’re not home) and posted it on our kitchen notice board.
Benefit 1 : I saved Time!
I saved myself time every day because I had already spent time planning, and could come home and just get straight to it.
Benefit 2: I Created Extra Time to Spend in Further Self Development
I could almost go so far as to say I created extra time in my week by investing in extra time when I planned the menu. Planning allowed me to identify what I would need to do to let me go to Tai Chi class but still eat a healthy home-cooked organic vegetarian meal from our delivered grocery items. By expending the energy on Thursday night making the next day’s meal, I got do something that benefits me in many other different ways – it actually gave me time I didn’t have on Friday.
You too can save time preparing your own weekly plan – ensuring a better diet for yourself and your family, optimising your shopping items and saving time wondering what you can make from two beetroot, a kohl rabi and some rhubarb!

Its perfect to plan everything ahead. We started to do the same thing as well. Today I made lentil stew, salmon patties, blue cheese and spinach rotini with tomatoes and eggplant casserole. Love your blog!
Thanks for the kind comment! Can we come to yours for dinner? Sounds delicious!
